The Deerwood Public Works Department is committed to providing excellent service to all Deerwood citizens.
With 3 parks, Scandia cemetery and miles of roads within the city to maintain, the Deerwood Public Works Department is able to provide many of the services of a large town, with the personal service of a small town.
The Deerwood Public Works Department is responsible for a number of activities around the city, including:

Maintaining all city streets and sidewalks

Maintaining city water and sewer infrastructure

Snow removal

Maintaining the city’s 3 parks

Maintaining of city’s softball park & tennis court
The Public Works Department is under the direction of Patrick Radtke and Brian Nelson.

Auditorium Rental Information
The Historic Deerwood Auditorium is available for rental for wedding receptions, birthday parties, family reunions and other gatherings. The main area (gym floor) is 38′ x 80′. Included in the rental fee is the use of tables and chairs. We have 40 tables, 8 feet in length. We also have 235 folding chairs. Please contact City Hall at 218-534-3152 for rental information and any other questions.
